sloppy defense cost us that game... plain and simple. last 13 seconds meant nothing.

And the strategy/message is..."We won the game, the scrap and we're not gonna take your s--t anymore?"  Or just make it a bit more agonizing for the Bruins to wait a bit longer before the horn blows?

 

Buffalo is gonna have a hard time making the playoffs.  Ruff won this battle.  Vanek absolutely a pleasure to watch.  

 

Lindy is gonna wake the bear. Next game will be a brawl. Very unsportsman like if you ask me. I think the B's lost and blew this game.....not the sabres outplaying them.  The B's gave them a gift with their undisciplined sloppy play.

Means nothing, the only thing that matters was the final score.

I'm sure Ruff was rubbing it in the B's face with that timeout.  Looking forward to the next time these two teams play.  Could Kasper or Poulin come out of retirement to shadow Vanek though?

Yeah, well it's not like the Bruins are angels at the end of games they are going to lose. I don't mind it.

 

CJ would have put out the fourth line if the score were opposite.

All that will matter is how we respond next time we play them.

It actually is, one of the reasons Buffalo fans love the guy..I think the move was done to give Julien every chance to send Lucic over the boards and talk to John Scott.

I think Ruff called the timeout simply to savour the moment...nothing more.

But it looks bush league to me...

...and they had a bus to the airport waiting to boot. Driver's pi$$ed too!

You get added punishment and suspensions for starting fights in the last 5 minutes. Ruff knew Julien wasn't going to start anything. He was just being a knob. Nothing more, nothing less. If Julien wanted to start anything he could've just put Chara, McQuaid, Lucic, MacDermid and Campbell out there. Julien is too smart to be goaded by a minor league move. Ruff is a loser both literally and figuratively.

And the biggest cry baby in the league to boot...I don't know for sure what Ruffs intentions were with the move, I just know Julien would have never done it.

And Buffalo fans love him for every tear he sheds when things dont go his way and when he does stupid moves like this.
