For sure:  Ference, Jagr, Horton, Peverley, Khudobin, Caron

    Wouldn't surprise me:  Seidenberg, Kelly.

Longshots:  Lucic and Seguin (for blockbusters only)

Onward and Upward in 2013-14:  Hamilton, Soderberg, Krug

Theme for 2013-14:  The need for speed.

    Update:

Now that The Tyler blockbuster has gone down and we have Louis Ericksson in the fold; seeing that he is a left winger; and he being slotted to right wing:

Don't be surprised to see Marchand or Lucic (will take another blockbuster for Milan) to be moved.

    My bet is Marchand.

PC seems to want players who rise to the occasion when the going gets rough. As such, both Marchand and Lucic will be Bruins for a while.

Stocks are rising for career backups.  We had to get rid of seguin bc of this along with ference and horton.  But this guy rask has some really good stats scattered out over 5 seasons

Ericksson plays both sides.  His versatility makes him more valueable.  PC said he will be playing the right side.

Don, he also plays RW...so no need to move anybody for him...he will slot in nicely as Marchmont's co-winger.

Ericksson is not out of position on RW and Marchand isn't going anywhere.  He is part of the "core" that PC always talks about.

One would have to have rocks in their head to even think Marchand will be shipped out !!  Not a very smart thread to even start.

Why.  Seguin was dealt.  We will have 3 players making over 20m.  What we need is for the trio of bart, hamilton, krug to play well. I will add morrow to the list as well.

Does anyone here think nashville would have sent us jones for seguin?

Maybe, you never know, but a forward had to be in the package i would think, and not Sergei Kostitsyn.

That's all fine for the defense and I like all 3 players but we still need to score goals !

Marchand is going no where.  It would not be far fetched for a compliance buyout of Chara after 2013-14.   The Bs are allowed 2 and have many young Dmen coming up.  It would be similar to the Vinny dump and give them much Cap flexibility.

Luc Dufour was as tough as Nails.

Luc, I personally think that there is zero chance of Chara being bought out. I think the Bolts are crazy for buying out Vinny only to turn around and give Fiipula 5 per to replace him. Going by league interest, it would appear as if Vinny is still judged to be worth 4.5 million. They could've at least waited another year like NYR are doing with Richards.
