Are we just repeating threads now?

Exact same thread two days ago (with the exact same non-sensical comparison).

Marco Sturm is missed. Ryder should have been traded/waived instead.

There's a lesson here Bruin fans.  High end salarys with injury issues are worth jack on the trading block, unless they have expiring contracts.  Healthy, high end salarys coupled with medicore play, are worth jack on the open market, unless matched with an expiring contract.  For expiring contracts, a 6-pack of Bud Lite can be offered up to consumate the deal.

Re: Marco Strum vs. Marc Savard

It sure looks like Sturm should have been kept and Savard given away at this point.  However, probably no one would take Savard with his long contract and questionable physical condition.  Meanwhile, he seems to be improving by only the slightest bit by bit, with missed passes, poor positioning, failure to backcheck, and lack of scoring touch.  The first line has sagged with his pivot.  His game-losing giveaway vs MN was the epitome of fancy passes that often go to the wrong team.

Bruins fans can only hope that he finds his pace, timing, and general game before the season is over.

But there is no way Sturm is going to be able to skate after 2 knee injuries and Savard is going to save the team by creating offense.  Stick with team line will ya.

john-88 I know that a goal is a goal... but one of those goals that Sturm has, went off his freakin head.
