Minor adjustments needed....and onto The Cup!

IMO, and can only believe that CJ and his staff pick this up on film to make the necessary adjustments.

    - TB is having success with the funnel high pressure forecheck, overpursuing the B's D as they are not great puck handlers; the B's D need to stop reversing the puck behind our net or deep in our zone, and use the middle of the ice to break the puck out.
    - B's D need to gap up much tighter, TB D is sucking in the B's forwards 10-15ft inside their blue, weaving their forwards low in the neutral in that grey zone while the B's D are too soft in their gap allowing their skilled forward to attack with speed.

Fired up for Game 5....enjoy it folks!!!!

ummmm so you want them to do something that no team ever does? retrieve the puck and throw it right up the middle? no. quite frankly, that is retrded. use the D to D, move the puck quickly, and try to get the weak side winger to give puck support in the neutral zone....preferably behid the "3" of the 1-3-1

dauber, it sounds like the most logical way to beat the 1 3 1 trap...it will take quick tape-to-tape passes though. I am not a big fan of pssses right up the middle of the ice. Skate it out if possible...draw the trap then a pass off the boards or directly to a teammate behind the weak side of the 3. Just a thought.
