It was either the night of the Stanley Cup victory or the day after that shop.NHL.com had it's biggest sales day in the history of the web sight. Good times for Bruins fans, our organization and the NHL.
If the economy finally turns (fingers crossed) and the Bruins go deep and rise to the top again does the salary cap go up significantly next summer ?

Yeah and it wasn't even a US vs US game. Imagine a DET vs BOS finals ratings. -

The cap will go up pretty much no matter what next year, as the the Atlanta Thrashers are no more. That eliminates one drag on NHL revenues and replaces it with a team that sold out their season tickets in two minutes. It's pretty much a guarantee that revenues will go up regardless of the impact of the Bruins on revenues, which should be solid as well. -

The Bruins are an ideal champion for the league. They have a huge following across the continent. They are a fun team to watch, too. -
