    So much for consistency.....brutal.

I Think NHL just spins a wheel,or something,i think they should have somebody who is outside of hockey looking at punishment,no ex players.

I do agree there should have been a suspension or fine.

However, the initial point of contact is Kopecky's back, not his head.

Was he targetting Kopecky's head - yes, I believe he was.  I tlooked to me like he intended to hit Kopecky in the head and insuruing he hit his back first.  It also appears that he's leading with his elbow.

What is undeniable is that it is a hit from behind and Nash had all the time in the world to premeditate it, the 'turn just prior' to the hit is nonsense.

Someone is more ticked about the inconsistency than us - Joffrey Lupul

Admits he deserved discipline, owns up to it. But is baffled as to the differences in a number of cases.

    So am I.

Wow, blatant hit to the back of the head. I don't understand what Nash is trying to do there. Should be 2 games.

If Kop was unconscious would have been 5-10.

It may be stupidity on my part, but I can't help but think the fact that Nash stood near and him and seem to check on his well-being instead of skating away influenced his decision. That, and the fact that no Panther really tried to pummel him afterwards, in a weird way, may have gotten Nash off the hook on this one.
