The drunk thing was a joke - I was never in the wrong... crap, I'm responding - goddamit.

Dez, let me ask you this - i think your comments square you as an a**, you think my comments square me as a total b!tch. What would either of us possibly gain from continuing this scrap? Can we agree to mutually just drop it?

I'll end it by saying there was no fight until one of us started it. I had no intention of offending or upsetting anyone as I had no idea repeating something about Pronger (that he,himself said) would cause such a stir.  I apologize to you any anyone else who was offended.

If I was called a shut-in-grandmother for relaying info on a rumour ( that Pronger himself addressed ) I would be p#ssed also.

As a matter of fact, on another thread ( see Friedman ) it just happened.

Chowdah, it was even worse for me because I'm a jerk to begin with. Frankly, I'm sincerely impressed by how well you're usually able to keep your composure. I'm always flying off the handle.  BTW, I can't wait for Saturday. I'm even pumped to watch the Pitt/Philly game in the afternoon. Cheers buddy!

Re: PC: Tim Thomas won't play this year, wants to play next year.

Christie was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. From a very young age, she had a love for the spotlight, and quickly found her niche in the world of competitive gymnastics and cheerleading. After traveling the globe while competing, she attended the University of Alberta where she earned a Bachelor of Education, with a major in physical education and minor in biological sciences. Christie then taught in the Edmonton Public School District for three years, before deciding to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.
Christie's first roles in front of the camera came in the form of music videos, TV series, and later, feature films. Some of her early credits include The Lizzie McGuire Movie, a Matthew Good Band music video, "The Chris Isaak Show", and the hit series "Jeremiah." However, she was also attending the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in pursuit of her second degree -- this time in Broadcast Journalism -- and opportunity to work in this field was not far behind.
Soon after graduation, Christie came into the national spotlight as the co-host of Stamps TV, a weekly, national show airing on Rogers Sportsnet following the Calgary Stampeders and the Canadian Football League. Christie's energy and charisma boosted show ratings, as she highlighted both on-field action from the sidelines and stories from behind the scenes.
Christie's personality also makes her a natural as an sports anchor, and in the summer of 2004 she was hired by CHUM/A-Channel Edmonton to join their team. Working both as an anchor and reporter, Christie produced nightly sportscasts covering everything from professional sports to local heroes.
Christie was also busy behind the camera, as 2004 also saw the formation of her own production company -- DUAL Productions. A Full-Service Video Production House, Dual focuses on Sports and Entertainment projects with a positive message. In the last year, DUAL produced "I HAVE A VOICE," a short film for the Alberta Government that encourages youth to speak up on social issues, and has many projects in development at this time.
The spring of 2005 brought even bigger opportunities for Christie, as her success in Canada led to her position as the host and executive producer of
Arizona All-Access, a behind-the-scenes sports show airing on Warner Bros. TV in Arizona. This show was a huge success, as it highlighted some of America's top rising stars, including 7-Time Olympic Medalist Swimmer Amanda Beard and Gold Medal Softball pitcher Jennie Finch. Christie, however, stole the show as her versatility - from 'Oprah-style' interviews to on-location events like cooking, boxing, & Yoga - allowed athletes to open up like never before. In addition, Dual Productions produced the show for the WB.
With beauty, intelligence, personality, and work ethic, the future is bright for Christie Chorley.

Gone are the local station's supper-hour and late-night newscasts. Gone are on-air faces such as news anchor Jennifer Martin, the entire sports department including Kris Laudien, Jamie Thomas and Christie Chorley, and behind-the-scenes videographers and editors. News editor Chris Duncan was shipped off to Calgary to manage content for all of Alberta.

    Christie Chorley

Christie Chorley herself recently made news when she pleaded for responsible regulation of the internet to stem such rumours as her denied involvement with NHL former Edmonton Oiler defenceman Chris Pronger and her possible role in his trade to the Anaheim Ducks.

Citytv staff across the country picked up personal belongings gathered by security guards before being escorted from company premises. Security guards were in place at several Citytv locations.

Here's the lady Pronger was accused of impregnating. There was no truth to the rumour just as there is nothing true about this lady being a combat vet or war correspondent. What a shocker.
