    Peguuins looking to deal/trade

I just finished reading an article in fourth period rumours that the Penguins are looking trade for salary dump.
Four players they want to resign are talbot kennedy rupp talbot.
They may trade Staal when back from injury.
Even though Malkin(8,700,000 mill contract for four more years) is not their trade wish but they are weighing several options.

The Penguins did play great while the two centers were mending or still mending.

Malkiin with a bad knee came back today and scored two goals. If this center is put on the trade block it could be a major battle to get this elite center man. So watch the rumour mill go crazier but his salary can fit in NYI and yes NYI will have good first rd. pick and Penguins are looking for a forward so Moulson. Moulson and 1st rd. pick is good start for a negotiations.

If his salary was not high our Bruins could be in the hunt for Malkin but too much salary dump for Bruins but our two first rd. picks could catch Shero's attention.

yes, Bergy, Krecji and Leafs #1 for Malkin. Then Wheeler, Colborne and our #1 for Brad Richards. Then Rask for Shea Weber. Win the Cup this year, it's been way to long.

we already have a less expensive brad richards named savard, we are lucky to have the goalie's we do, look around the league its not good in net for most teams.we need a change at wing not center. wheeler and ryder still need to be dealt IMO.

Boston is 8th overall in the league. No need for an overhaul !

All we need is a top 3 D-man than can play 20-25 solid minutes per game.

Why do they need a top 3 dman? Defense hasn't been a problem in 3 years. Its the offense that goes into serious scoring slumps. Thankfully Thornton is putting up goals! :-)

yes, I realize my suggestions are fantasy league nonsense. But despite being 8th in the League, the B's are a distant fourth in Boston sports. They really need a splash move to get the buzz back. And I am not a cap guy obviously, but wouldn't Bergy-Krecji balance out Malkin? And if you took on Richards you would have to dump Ryder to Providence. Not sure if Rask-Weber would balance out, probably have to dump Paile to do that.
But the bottom line is I just don't think this team is a real Cup contender - defense to mediocre and three centers to similar in style. And worse, they're just not that fun to watch. Thomas is fun, and maybe Lucic and Seguin with his speed and potential. But nobody else is a seat packer. Just a bunch of mediocre four million a year players.

Here's the big splash move: win a Cup.

Leave the press conferences for big signings and "saviour" trades to the Leafs.

Seriously the D is about 50 percent as good as you think, they have a hard time moving the puck. Its the goaltending that makes the D look so good/
