when Holmgren traded both Richards & Carter i thought it was time to start fitting him for a straight jacket, but with the acquisitions of Schenn, Simmonds, Voracek & Couturier the Flyers are in good shape going forward....

Those guys along with Giroux and JVR.... so much young talent. They just need a good young defenseman. Wouldn't be surprised if JVR is traded for one this offseason, but his trade value has plummeted a bit this year.

Wonder if they make a big push for Weber... would be come a very scary team.

I also thought lke you but I was a little bias because I like Mike Ricahrds.
While Mike Richards evens out that trade with his play in the playoffs , not sure Carter will do the same .

NBC praising Crosby? God these guys are awful.

Did they not see Crosby not throw a punch until Giroux was down on the ice after being tackled by the ref, and all the punk moves he pulled that led up to that..?

Giroux....  Bobby Clarke couldn't remember his name when he got up to make the pick at the draft....

    and a late first-rounder....  what a steal....

Can anyone explain why Letang and Timonen were ejected for the game? All they seemed to do was fight...

Crosby and Giroux fought but weren't tossed..

    Can't figure it out.

Make sure he doesn't appear again in this series and if it's short, suspend him into next year.  I am so tired of this crap, retaliating after clean hits.  The NHL needs to focus on this next year.  It's an epidemic.

LOL  Vigneault was going crazy trying to get Kesler away from that matchup.  Richards said it that was a nice compliment (or something to that nature)

He seems to have settled down at the moment but earlier Fluery was an example of shakey goaltending resulting in a shakey team.

Glad the series is headed to LA. Will see lots of Richards v. Kesler with the Kings getting the last change. Waiting for Kesler to lose his cool on Richards.

Take notice tonight on faceoffs after the draw how Kesler either corss checks or slashes the opposing center.
He always does this (ie on Joe Thornton and Bergeron in last years playoffs) but this time around Richards will get him back.

Series record there for Fleruy. 14 minutes into a period w/o giving up a goal.

Look at how the Flyers cycle the puck low near Fleury on the PP and put someone's a-- right in his face to make it tough for him to see.  The Bruins should be taking notes.

This series has seen some really odd goals.

I guess that's inevitable given the sheer number of goals scored.
