Peter Mueller?

    Peter Mueller?

Heard Haggs on the radio with Toucher & Rich this morning mention that this was a guy that the B's might be looking at.

Interesting low cost option.  Looks like he played in Swiss-A last year with Kloten and led the league in goals.  Former 8th overall pick (2006) with a concussion history.

Right-hand shot, can play wing or center.  Possible 3rd-line RW?

Yeah Crowls, I just read an article suggesting he was on the radar. For the right price he could be a good pick up. Besides, the B's can't have too many guys with concussion problems can they? Seriously though, he's not a bad player when healthy.

yes heard about him.  He's a quick skater and not very physical. I look at this as a low cost band-aid to play on the 3rd line, maybe even 4th line.

I know they want more "speed"  but with no physicality ?

Mueller has top 6 talent.  Would look good on the right side with Krejci.

For my money,i would be trying to sign Setoguchi over Mueller.Setoguchi has one 30 gl season and two 20 gl seasons and has nowhere near the concussion problems of Mueller.Mueller has one 20 gl season on his resume and has had his head rattled a few times. There is a reason he is playing in the Swiss league.

    Holy heaping piles of crap.

Have any of you watched Mueller play a game?

This guy is freakin' awful.  Why do you think he's in the Swiss League?  He wasn't even asked back by the miserable Panthers.  Contact is kryptonite.  Passing is laughable.  Defense is unknown.

I'd rather see Caron out there.  No joke.

So if this is the case then Chiarelli is bent on keeping Kelly.

It would be much of the "same ol, same ol" if Mueller and Kelly are on the roster opening night.

Fair.  Daugavins was tied for 4th in the league in scoring (Mueller was 3rd).  Doesn't speak too highly to the level of play.

Wondering though, if his is getting his legs/game back after the concussions?  Bergeron's 1st year back after the Randy Jones hit, he was a shell of himself.  He played 64 games and scored only 8 goals (8-31-39).

If you can get him at a low number, might be a nice risk/reward payback.

Ok, let me try again.  The year Zach Hamill won the scoring title in the WHL - the feat that got him drafted 8th overall - you know who came second in scoring for the Everett Silvertips...second to Zach Hamill...even though he was a year older and already drafted?

    Peter Mueller.

That could be, but i don't see a ton of teams in a rush to sign him and when his former team, the Jets, took a pass, that tells you something.Other than if he can stay healthy,i don't think Mueller is that good,or physical enough. We'll see,PC will have to make a move sooner or later.

The only way I'd like to see this guy on the Bruins is if he signed a negative salary deal and was constantly scratched.

You know, he signs, and somehow the B's get an extra million in cap room.

One of two things is possible here.

    1.  You're the worst judge of talent in the history of people judging talent.

    2.  You've never seen Mueller play and are pulling things out of your ears for whatever reason.

    Which is it?
