Please try one PP with Chara in front of Net

If they don't get something done with the power play they are doomed in the playoffs. I am so sick of hearing how Kaberle sets the table for Chara's bomb from the point which in most cases results in a shot to the chest of the goalie, wide or a broken stick. It just ain't working. Please CJ let Chara stand in front of the net on the PP to see if something happens. I am sure there is somebody else who can blast the puck at 90 miles an hour which will be just as good as 105.
One of the CBC analysts made an interesting observation last night when he said that the Bruin's power play is a momentum zapper and he is right. In fact this is true for all of their games lately. With 5 on 5 they had momentum at times only to be ruined by the opposition taking a penalty and putting the Bruins on their heels on the PP. What the hell is that when the PP is to your detrement? If they could even just set up the PP and play most of it in the opposition's end but they can't even do that. Unless they are going to bring in a new rule where the Bruins can decline the penalty nothing is going to change. They have to try something significant because tinkering with the PP is not going to change anything. So its Chara to the front for me because there is no where to go up and the PP just simply can't get any worse. -

I'm good with that idea as well. Maybe the sight of Chara sitting out the power play will shock or embarass the others into action. It's not like anything else that CJ has tried is working. -

Putting the biggest guy in front of the net is not the solution. If that were the case, the B's would just sign King Kong Bundy as a PP specialist. -

Why not sign a sumo and dress him as our goalie. He just has to sit in the net and we would never get scored against. We might have to go in the shootout sometimes but who cares!! :)

I think it's a great idea, only to mix things up. It's worked in the short term in the past. the other team pays a bunch of attention to him. -

In Response to Re: Please try one PP with Chara in front of Net:I would take Chara off the power play. Kaberle-Kampfer should play point. Chara is vital to our team defense, so giving him rest during the power play may actually be beneficial. This Chara-Kaberle point is not working.

Posted by OatesCamnah. it's a gimmick. and a bad one.i honestly can't believe that Julien still seems to be open to the idea. his only concern was that we didn't have anyone else who shoots 104 mph.insert facepalm here.
