The d and goaltending has gone south along with the scoring and now are fighting to hold onto 1st in the division. WE WONDER IF THIS DUE TO THE UP COMING TRADE DEADLINE or is it just sloppy play by an over confident team that beat the hated habs or a team headed in the wrong direction.
The Bruins have lost two to the Wings by a combined score of 10 to 3 and this revealed alot of hole on this team but also showed we cannot beat the teams from the West which should be a serious concern and the compete level was not even close.
Last night the Bruins threw a very important 2 points away to the Leafs in which they had the lead twice and could not find a way to hang on. There was a time not that long ago the Bruins could have done that without a problem.
PC had in his grasp the chance to grasp the means to obtain the player or players needed to get the Bruins out of their problems, but he decided to grab another 3rd liner to fix our woes. Granted he said he is not done but if this is all he can get we are better off going with what we have and wait for next year.
PROBLEMS, yes we have but 3rd liners are not the answer, I love this team but we need much better from PC if we are going past round two.
