Actually interesting, he was once a Canucks prospect.  I'm sure 49 will weigh in on this .

I believe thats true, thinking Rask might be ready?

Paille now hurt too?  The Providence Red Sox (cant win consecutive games) Bruins.

I'm thinking East teams are salivating for a Bruins matchup in the playoffs.

He wasn't drafted by the Canucks -- I guess he was on a free agent tryout last fall. He played in the 2011 Young Stars Tournament, but couldn't crack the Chicago Wolves roster.  He was signed by the Bruins and assigned to Reading via Providence.

I just checked his stats on hockeydb -- he has a 3.84 GAA in 18 GP, so I'm guessing he's going from Reading to Providence to fill Hutchinson's slot.

The Bruins recalled goalie Michael Hutchinson and forward Lane MacDermid from the AHL's Providence Bruins on an emergency basis.

Thomas clearly has the load going forward ... I think it will wake him up.

MacDermid?  I like the physical presence - is Thornton unable (I know he's bang-ed up)?

I wonder how long Khudobin is expected to be out.  Can the Bruins send Hutchinson down and bring Khudobin up when Khudobin is ready to play?

    Re: Rask Injured

Khudobin injured his wrist against Bridgeport last Saturday and is not expected to be out more than a few weeks... Expect the B's to recall him when he's ready, which should be within the next 2 weeks or so (hopefully).

And his final #'s were 15 of 17 stopped in 51+ minutes of play.
