Rask is 3-11-1 against the scabs ...if we lose this series we may have to consider a blockbuster trade including Rask & Krejci ....we need a goalie that can beat the scabs thats it thats all

Just because someone's a martyr doesn't make them any better then someone else. Everyone stop bickering & being stupid! We were lucky to have Thomas & we're just as lucky to have Rask. Not many organizations have 2 bonafide goalie's back to back. Just fawking stop with the petty bullsh it!

.882 SV% for Price today and looked real bad on a couple of today's goals.

Yep, Price looked very ordinary in the third, only stopping 3 of 8 shots against him. Perhaps his luck has run out.

Really Rask should have been out in the 1st round last year except for the great comeback by his team mates.

He wasn't very good against Chicago.

I can't remember 1 game the Bruins didn't out-play Pittsburgh.  So again, Rask went along with the team.  Show me one game, that mattered, he single-handedly stole.

First of all, Rask was very, very, good in last year's playoffs.  Check the facts.  Historically good stats.

Rask outplayed Price in Game 2.

And the real opposite of accountability is deflection.  If you don't like Rask admitting he had a bad game, you might take a look at Price stating that the Bruins "got lucky" in scoring 5 goals in game 2.

You can talk all you want about Bergeron's deflected goal, but he shot from a terrible angle and the puck went in because the post wasn't sealed.  Luck plays a part in most goals.  Price gave up 3 goals in 6 minutes of the 3rd period, and he's passing it off as luck.

Both great goalies, but we've got the better guy.  Stop whining.

No,i just want an example of when TT single-handedly won a game during the 2011 SCF run.I seem to recall the team played well in front of him in all of his victories,TT went along with the team.

    2013 playoffs:

    Rask: 22gp, 14-8 record, 1.88 GAA, .940 sv%, 3 shutouts

    Price: 4gp, 1-2 record, 3.26 GAA. .894 sv%, 0 shutouts

    2014 playoffs:

    Rask: 7gp, 5-2 record, 1.71 GAA, .939sv%, 1shutout

    Price: 6gp, 5-1 record, 2.54 GAA, .910 sv%, 0 shutouts

It appears to me that Rask is having the better post-season so far again. What is the argument about again?

The B's still got TT 2 gls so i wouldn't say the team didn't play well but if you agree with Dupont,ok. Bim i know you love TT and rightly so and are lukewarm to Tuukka, thats your right, but to say that Rask only plays well when his whole team plays well is weak, imo.I will say that TT's save against Downie was robbery.

Isn't the old "steal a game" terminology reserved for the underdog?  Price stole last nights game because the B's were better than the Smurfs at everything except putting the puck in the net.

If Rask needs to steal one, then the Habs need to outplay the B's, which may or may not happen.

    [/QUOTE]

Couldn't agree with you more.  This team should steamroll most teams they play.  But they haven't and they don't.  And that's my point.  When they have a subpar game, Rask does too.  When they have a great game Rask does too.  At some point in the playoffs I think he's gonna have to win one on his own, and that's what I'm saying.

And to Books point, Thomas may have blamed his team for a loss, but a least he did them a solid and won them some games.  Btw Book I think what you're talking about is redemption, not accountability.

So it all balance out.  And I think before all is said and done, as the competition gets tougher, he's gonna have to steal one, eventually.
