Re-Sign Ryder!

He obviously has great chemistry with Seguin. The team will be unstoppable next year;
Horton Krejci Lucic
Ryder Seguin Kelly/Caron/Free agent
Marchand Bergy Peverly
Thronton Campbell Paille/Kelly -

I'd be happy to see him back as long as it's a little cheaper. -

like what he brings to the bruins in the playoffs...but regular season he seems like he is on vacation. -

Unless he will take a massive paycut (around 1.5 to 2 mill) then no... -

no, no and no.
free agent having a good playoff run. even if he took the league minimum I still wouldnt want him. which means they likely sign him to 10 yrs and 50 million. -

Ryder has all the talent in the world, but only shows up once in a while. I guess he isn't the greatest skater, but he does have sneaky speed. I'd like if they could sign him to the kinda money jmwalters suggested, but it's never gonna happen... unless he really loves the city of Boston. -

And who replaces Recchi (assuming he retires?) -

A rookie or quasi-rookie like Caron. Maybe someone with more speed like Sauve. Whoever impresses in camp... -

Don't care if he scores overtime goal in final to win the Cup, I've seen enough to know he should not be on this team next year. -

Glad he stepped up tonight but he has not been heard from since game 4 of the Montreal series on APRIL 21ST almost a month ago plenty of right handed shots either on the free agent list or yes Caron or Sauve both are still on entry level 3-way agreements so they can be sent down if they falter or stall. -

It depends on what is out there in free agency. If you can bring him back for 2 mill, maybe. I personally would have trouble holding a top 6 forward spot for him regardless of the money. -

Go after a guy like Jussi Jokinen, or even a Brooks Laich, despite the low chance that he's not re-upped by McPhee & Washington. Remember, they can afford a 3M signing, the cap is expected to increase by roughly 3M. -

He does seem to be showing some chemistry with Seguin, but Seguin will soon outgrow him. Not many players, perhaps Paille or Thornton, wouldn't have scored those goals tonight. He's not ever going to be a role player, so bye bye. -

Posted by thedauber1I hope somehow Recchi can defy mother nature and play another season. Maybe 3rd or 4th line by then, but I hope he sticks around if he doesn't lose too much in the offseason. -

If we can get him for under 2 mill...if not...make space for Caron -

Never! Never ever again!
Even if he played for free! He's a zero - a holding place - a waste of free air - awe - never mind. CJ's man love will be back doing whatever he wants to do - like giving the puck away, losing battles along the wall, not passing, shooting wide, high and not so handsome, having his shot "blocked". The guy's from Newfoundland from Pete's sake and is the punch line for every Newfie joke ever, besides he gives Newfies a bad name. -

NO NO a thousand times no. Game 2 was what Ryder should be doing. In game 3 he made a good pass to Ference, BUT the rest of the night he skated around the perimeter with the puck, until a Tampa player knocked it off his stick. he did NOT pass to Seguin or Kelly as they constantly re-positioned themselves, but NO PASS. So do not give SLYDER a pass to next year. Yes , he has skills, but he is the laziest, underperformer in the league. -

during game 3, doc emrick used the word 'gliding' twice to describe ryder. i'd re-sign him, but at $2m or less. playoffs ain't over. he has more chances to be a hero. -

It all depends on what happens this post season. But 4 million, no way. Someone will offer 3 million, so he's a goner.
