That is what Buffalo needs to do is build back up through the draft. Great deal for the Sabres, just not the biggest fan of Reghr's.

That will probably spell the end of Keaton Ellerby's time in LA.  Enjoy Manchester, Keaton.  The weather is wonderful!

The price for rental has just been set for average d man... Chiarelli won't be happy...

He is well past his prime as a shut down D man.

Again, both sides get what they want, fair deal...

It's not a rental until the player signs somewhere else.  Who knows what LA's plan is?

Wish we could have got him.  The price for players is extremely high.  Our defense stinks at the moment.  Everyone wants dmen.  Why didnt they listen to me the last 16 months

    Re: Regehr to Kings

Regehr could have been a pretty good addition to B's lineup. Unfortunately would have cost a lot more than a couple of 2nd rounders. If PC is going to make a move -- it's showtime. The available pool of potential help is getting thinner by the day. Perhaps he's waiting for a couple more teams to come to the reality that it's time to finally dump players. A few interesting games tonight and tomorrow which may have a bearing.

True enough , but I would be surprised if they kept him past this year.. LA has great depth at that position and only injuries to Mitchell and Greene necessitated this move, when they come back next year I don't think there is room for a slow plodding d man like Regehr ...don't give up on your boy Ellerby either...you don't think LA overpaid here?
