Report: Whitey Bulger went to B's-Canucks Game 7

    http://nesn.com/2013/07/report-whitey-bulger-watched-game-7-between-bruins-canucks-at-rogers-arena/

Appearently, the FBI had him under surveillence at the time and ended up picking him up a week later.

One of those stories, not sure if I beleive it, but interesting.

Hope the FBI also enjoyed the game.

Great gig for the FBI agents. But really that roach can't go away fast enough.

What the hell? Every time I cross the border out here it turns into a game of 3,789 questions, but Bulger can get across no problem?

Whitey lived right down the street from my favorite delicatessen in Santa Monica, Fromins and he went incognito in Europe for all those years. I could see it happening in a very Euro Vancouver. Most people outside the Winter Hill and Southie areas of Boston weren't going to recognize him anyway.

Having said all that I hope Bulger burns for eternity, him and that FBI scum Connolly!

Whitey is a pretty bad mother, but truthfully, I think it's cool that he's still a B's fan.

Maybe he was one of The Friends of Eddie Coyle?

It says something that he would risk his freedom to see a historic Bruins game. Awful person who's still a huge fan.

He risked nothing, the only risk was to the people he would be around everytime he crawled out of his hole.

You're either reading too much into what I said or not enough. The guy's clearly a dirt bag but that doesn't change the fact that he's more likely to get caught crossing a border than he would be if he stayed in hiding. No one is applauding the guy for anything. I just say he's obviously a big fan.

I've seen his picture numerous times over the years. After all the time and how old he is now, not sure I'd recognize him if he sat next to me at a Bruins game. Probably think he was just another old guy in a Bruins hat.

Now, if I left my seat to go get a beer and came back only to find my wife missing, then and only then would I grow suspicous.

If he ended up at a game in Vancouver he must have snuck across in the trunk of a car ( something he knows all too much about, trunks of cars that is), as I don't see him clearing Canadian Customs. They are not that dumb. Right ?

Luongo played like Whitey had a marker out on him.

I hate to say it, but that's a cool pick.  If Nilan didn't make the NHL he probably would've been digging graves on the beach with Kevin Weeks (not the goalie).
