Marchand Scores...Paille doesn't...Marchand sets up goals for Bergeron...Paille doesn't set up goal for anyone...Marchand is 5 times the player Paille is -

I'm partial to hustlers so 4th line wingers are fun too watch because they know they don't have skill but they go out and try to make it work during the 8-9 minutes they get. Overachieving hustlers work in all sports organizations have to have them.
Paille simply got passed on the depth chart now he is depth at a position that is not expected to score goals. Any points out of a 4th line checker is a bonus. Next September Daniel will go and make another teams PK better. -

Does anyone other than Stanley think Paille and Wheeler are the future of this franchise?
Paille is a great skater but a terrible shooter. I don't see any improvement in that side of his game but he seems smart enough (for a hockey player). Maybe he can become a useful defensive forward but he just doesn't have the shooting ability of the likes of Marchand.
Don't feel to bad for him. Irrespective of intent it was a pretty dangerous play. The league is right to clamp down on blind-side hits and to be effective there needs to be a zero tolerance approach. He'll do his time and be back and that'll be the end of it.
