Bruins Recall Max Sauve, Andrew Bodnarchuk From Providence

Love it!  I am interested to see him in the line up, so all the Caron lovers can see a Guy who deserves to be on the NHL ice!

    LMAO "Pant Tent"

Sauve's skating reminds me a lot of Peverley's.

    Added to this thread:
Sandog and Chowdah will have a field day on me.
Sauve garde ta tete haut ! Translation " keep your head up "!

The bad news Boychuk has a concussion ?

I like talented, skilled new players, so I'm curious to see Sauve play. Glad he played well enough to get a chance.

would tend to showcase him in a game BEFORE the deadline if that was the case i would think.

I think you're trying to lure NAS back with the term "showcase".

Fluto has him on the 4th with Camper centering and Pouliot on the wing.

I like it.  Can't wait to see his speed.  This line could easily be minus-2 but let's see what they've got.

Not showcase...you know, just see what they've got...

I'd like to see him with Paille.  That would have the makings of a good speedster line.

"B's Recall Sauve on an Emergency Basis"

Went to wood class 101 this morning so it's back up. Sauve is putting some miles on his little put put Le Car. Driving back up just in case maybe Thornton is still sick or Julien wants to see if Max can do more than Caron.

Doesnt that make 24 on the active roster?

There's 26 there.  Minus 2 (Horton and Savy dont count).  Thought you could only carry a max of 23...Am I missing something?

Funny stuff!  Unfortunately Thorton looks like he is gonna give it a go and Caron gets to ride on the 3rd line with Rolston.  Would much rather see Max get that assignment.

Re: SanDog has a Pant Tent!

Sorry MeanE, I'd also like to see Sauve in action, but Claude will always go with the guys who play his game, the way he wants it played = Caron. After saying that, I have been wondering , for the last three months, why Claude keeps having Pouliot play, even on the PP. The positives/negatives are, Pouliot is BIG; he can skate, at least forward, not so good on the backsheck; once in a blue moon he gats off a shot; he rarely makes a good pass to his linemates, no matter who they are; he is not consistent in any aspect of his game, particularly handling and controlling the puck; once in a while he gets his big frame in front of the goalie. Perhaps he could learn the basics in Providence, but Peter would have to get JJ's approval for payments above and beyond the usual AHL line.

What game is that exactly?  Let me guess he's "strong on the puck", blah, blah, blah. I might as well say he is on the team because he lives with Seguin, gotta keep #19 happy!  You love to bash Pouliot, but he has 18 pts., is +11 as compared to -3, and Pouliot draws a lot of penalties on the opposition with his hard work.  I can't recall Caron drawing a penalty ever?  Why, becasue the kid doesn't work as hard as he should!  Would much rather see a kid like Sauve that can skate!  Let's see what effort he will provide, because Caron is not hungry enough!

Mean E, did you forget that Caron did all the work to put the puck on POuliot's stick, at the goal mouth, on Pouliot's first goal??

What makes Sauve deserving of a spot as opposed to Caron? Your level of disdain for Caron is becoming laughable. Saying he doesn't work hard makes absolutely no sense since CJ doesn't dress guys who aren't (at least) working hard.

About as laughable as all the Ball Washing that is done for this kid.  I call it as I see it.  I will ask you the same question, what makes Caron deserving of a spot as opposed to Sauve?  Caron certainly hasn't torn it up!  Recently CJ has had to dress guys due to injuries, suspensions, and sickness.  Other factors are in play other then just working hard.

I bring up his work ethic only because of your claim that Caron should watch Sauve to see what a deserving player looks like. You then said Caron doesn't work hard. What makes Caron more deserving than Sauve you ask? CJ does. He's trying to ice the best team possible. You don't like Caron. We get it. CJ does like him though. I do too. I also call it like I see it. I see you've got a problem with Caron and anyone who doesn't is a ball washer. I'll tell you the same as I told Nite. I'll revisit this in a month and we'll see where this plays out then. Until then, cheers to living up to your name.
