And comes the 2 hardest wins of the season !!! LET'S GO BRUINS !!!

Give the hawks credit.  Hossa is one heck of a player to be missing right now.  Why dont they just put toews with bickell and kane.  Bickell goes from john druce playoff guy to john druce regular season guy.

More like going from John Druce to John Byce!

The Blackhawks looked pretty bad, reminded me of the Pens, they had that look of giving up about them.

I don't see it. Chicago got some good chances. They just missed them. It seems as though it's more a case of Rask getting into their heads rather than Chicago giving up.

    [/QUOTE]

They missed ALL of them and got shut out.

Other than PEV all the guys put on 100% effort and desserved this win

Seidenberg with the jacket. Any one of 4 or 5 other guys were = candidates. Peverly and Thornton looked pretty good as well. Taking nothing away from Hawks -- They had some major chances and played well.

That was Peverly's best game in a long time. I thought he had a good game.

Man, that was great.  If Hossa is out or significantly limited, the Hawks are going to continue to have a heck of a time getting through the Bruins D.

Some Bears hunt in packs, brother!

Chara was in a rather burly mood all game.

I loved when Chara pancaked (I forget who) on a check.

I also can't remember who that was.  He had lots of edge to him.  Wading into scrums with the cameras showing him giving Hawks nudges in the back with his stick to let them know he was on the scene.  I enjoyed seeing that nastiness.

Toews said that he knew that Hossa might not have been able to play. I'm sure he got hurt last game . I'm guessing it's a shoulder.

Hard to beat a team with the best goaltender (Rask) best defenceman

(Chara) best faceoffman (Bergeron) best getting in you're head (Marchand)

One of the best Coach & key to all Cam Neely. To all the rest of the Bruins

    we can't win without you.

If these Bruins can make Crosby/Malkin and Toews/Kane look like regular season John Druce, they can make Bickell look like regular season John Druce.

Bad enough to have his name engraved on the Cup.  Hopefully twice.

Something very strange about this whole situation. I have heard groin injury, and I heard Quenneville say it was an "upper body" injury. This type of evasivenes, is normal, but if it was a day to day, see how he feels in the warmup, type thing, like Queneville is saying, why would they not have dressed an extra player, for the warmup?

Instead, a rookie has to get dressed between the warmup and start of the game, and play his first shift without the benefit of a warmup.

It makes me wonder if something actually happened in the warmup.

Awsome and big win as they all are at this time of the year. How about those bruins special teams? PK and PP! Tuukka pitched a shutout and even dropped an S-bomb on national tv in his post game interview with Piere on NBCSN! 2 more wins from the second cup in 3 years! I know still lots of work to do but man I am pumped. How great is this if your a life long bruins fan? All the lean years and now? COME ON BRUINS KEEP IT GOING!

Tim Thomas Thanks for the memories !

Being a lifelong fan of all the Boston pro teams and the BC Eagles I can only say that God has blessed me as a fan! I waited 46 years for the Sox too win their first WS, I saw the Bruins win in the 70's, I have rooted for the Patriots since the days of Babe Parilli and Gino Cappaletti and was rewarded in 2001! The Celtics have been my saving sports grace throughout the dry years of the other teams droughts. With all that said I love this Boston Bruins team because they play as a team and win or lose they have each others back for the most part. They were decided underdogs in Two of the playoffs series this time, and they are now on the precipice of their second SC in 3 years! Go Bruins don't let up you have the Blackhawks on the ropes deliver the Marvin Hagler KO!!!!! Now if god is listening he knows the only Championship I need for my memory is a National Championship from the NCAA by the Eagles football team!
