Seguin playing on PP in Pre-Practice

Maybe he'll finally get a chance.......but note the words used by CJ. Has to be VERY tempting to push the kid a bit above the "let's not rush him through anything" approach with the stinky PP the B's have currently.

"For the first time in the postseason, Tyler Seguin participated in pre-practice power-play drills. There were no set units, but Seguin mostly worked the left-side half-boards. "He's a young player we care about and make sure that we develop him properly," Julien said. "Part of the decision we've made as an organization is not to rush him through anything."

Re: Seguin playing on PP in Pre-Practice

He should work near the top of the circle on his offhand side on the  PP. Krejci should be down low, Lucic front net, and Horton on the other circle with Siedes at the center of the blueline for an umbrella type set up.

The kids got the shot, speed, vision to excel from that spot if played with some talent. He looks scary good with the puck on his stick, Im thinking he gets a PPG if he sees some PP time in game 2.

It would be nice to see him out there, his skill set is ideal.

I am hoping CJ runs with this. As the other thread on the B's PP points out  4.9.% is unacceptable. No team in modern history has won the cup with such a deficient PP.

100 PP Minutes and 1 goal in Reg Season

I agree. He should be on the PP. Anything to put some mobility and speed in the PP.

    Anything.

However, keep this in mind. Seguin played over 100 minutes of PP in reg season and got one goal.
