Actually the "little ball of hate" should make that remark. As for Thornton's response, I'd rather he just sit on the bench. Bergeron can deal with this in his own way. Eric Staal is no light weight and the reason for Skinner's das boot. Me thinks the NHL is getting a read on Skinner's behavior. Nice info JM on Skinner's junior behavior!

I have a problem with the league not looking at this. History is supposed to matter to them in how they review and handle suspensions. I gotta believe if this was the nose faced killa doing the slew footing, he would be getting a call from Shanny!
You're right MeanE. People can say what they want about Marchand but it sure seems like there are 2 sets of standards by which the punishments are handed out.

Skinner said he has watched the replay six times and again denied that it was a "slew-foot."
"We got tangled up," he said. "I don't know what else to say. He puts his stick across my body and latches on to me and we both fell backward. I really don't know what I'm supposed to do in that situation."
Skinner in complete denial. Yah Dez, Marchand has been clean so far hope he stays that way.

Good article & I'm glad the coach talked to him. I noticed him just playing hockey & giving the odd chirp. Stood his ground against Ryan Mcdonagh. Want him to antaginize a little bit more, but not until he's ready to stay productive as well as be a pita to play against.
