    Chris Bourque to Caps.

    Dad had really big shoes to fill.

    And Chris can't fill Dad's shoes even if he wore ski boots - and left the skis on.

    When Bourque wanted to leave BU to go pro, Parker told him - and Bourque knew - that he wouldn't make it to the NHL.  Parker said that there were 20 things that could happen to you in minor league hockey and 19 of them were bad.

    But school didn't interest Bourque and he decided that being a career minor leaguer was the way to go.

    There's a lesson here for you young kids, being mentally lazy is going to cost you, if not now, it will catch up to you.

    Yah...  and that's another point for all you young whipper snappers to pay attention to, when you have a guy with 30+ years experience, wasn't a half bad players himself and coached 72,948 guys into the NHL - he might be worth listening to.

    Don't do drugs, stay in school.
