Could December 2013 be the worst month ever for Bruins injuries? This is just unreal...

yes and the league seems to do little with these ongoing concussions beyond an occasional suspension for about 3 to  5 games on average.(Then there is the over the top 15 game suspension to Shawn Thornton) It appears that  the Department of Player Safety needs to be more proactive and examine in full detail the circumstance surrounding each and every concussion, long term leg injury etc. and come down real hard on the perps. Maybe someone out thedre has a good idea on how to better handle this situation.

This has been a month of nothing but bum luck and it has 3 plus days left in it. Paille just scored a goal (to tie it up)in his first game back so just mauybe the  corner is turning back in ther b's favor

Re: Soderberg out with concussion like symptoms

Just imagine what a force this team wil be with a full deck come playoff time.  Chara likely a really brief stint; Hamilton around the corner; Kelly, too; Thornton, ditto.

It's the concussion folks: Ericksson and now Sods who'll need time.

If it's true about the NYR shopping Del Zotto and Girardi, then make a hard press to grab one to take up Seids' vacancy.  Both are pretty similar in grit, toughness and D-centered play.
