    Standings?

Maybe it's because I've been up since 4AM the reason I'm not seeing this, but why are the Habs in front of the B's in the standings right now? It's always been the team with the most wins if there's a tie in pts. Well the B's have a 21-7-2 to Mon's 20-6-5. I'm sure there's a reason, but I can't figure it out right now.

    Re: Standings?

I was wondering the same thing and found this..

    • The fewer number of games played (i.e., superior points percentage).
    • The greater number of games won, excluding games won in the Shootout.
    • Make sense ? not really lol a win is a win.

ROW is first tie break. I think it's stupid but that's the deal.

and, as predicted, Habs fans are crowing about this already. God, I hope the B's beat them next game...and decisively, none of this shootout crap.

They need Pitt to win tonight , that would be nice.

JM, they're still crowing about the Cups they won 20 years ago too. Go figure.

Yeah, I hope the Pens grind them to pulp...and I rarely cheer for the Pens.

    lol.....very true.

Bud fans also a bit annoying this morning, claiming victory because they "stole" 3 of 4 points from the B's. That's interesting because just last I was hearing how they are so much better than Boston they were going to destroy them with Lupul in the lineup. Not to mention the B's "stole" 3 of 4 games from TO this season.

LOL that's what happened the last time they payed the Pens in Montreal and the next day played the Bruins.  I hoping a different this time.
