    Strength down the middle???????????

    Krejci 5 goals
    Bergeron 5 goals
    Campbell 2 goals
    Savard 0 goals

    While Krejci has been decent the rest of these guys are awful. Bergeron can hit an empty net once in a while. Savard looks like he is looking to spend the next seven years here avoiding contact. Face it Savard needed Kessel or Kovy. He is nothing.....and another thing...when the 4th line is your best line every nite your coach obviously can't motivate or even coach. THe team can't score and Seguin sits for Paille??? Four days off and Rask starts over Thomas???? Without Thomas this team is not a playoff team and Clod still plays 2-10 Rask??? Look at the other top 8 teams' coaches and tell me if Clod is better than any of them? Awful coach.

    I agree, Bergeron needs too go. Yes he made the Olympics, but only as a faceoff specialist that barely played. Too much money for to little return. By far the most overrated Bruin.

    I shouldn't throw Campbell in there. He's actually decent for a 4th liner who plays smart. When something goes wrong on that line it is usually Thornton's fault since he can't skate and is basically a poor version of a goon

    You don't get paid $5m to take faceoffs. Thereare plentyof good faceoff guys who can kill penalties for alot less........

    SAVVY   IS NO WHERE NEAR GAME SHAPE

    BERGY IS ONE OF IF NOT BEST ALL AROUND CTR IN NHL..

    KRECJI  IS A PLAYMAKER WITH STRONG DEFENSIVE SKILLS JUST A LITTLE SOFT

    CAMPBELL IS A BARGAIN AND UNDERRATED


    Almost every team in nhl with maybe not Pit would love to swap ctrs with Boston

    Thanks wally, 64th at center hardly qualifies as "the best if not the best all around centers in the nhl" either.

    The fact is Bergeron had one "great year". He scored 30 goals and was -30 I believe for Dave Lewis. He isn't on the level of top centers in the NHL. Making Team Canada was a joke. He never played and he will never be selected again. There is always one guy that gets in that doesn't belong. Bergeron is a good player that needs players around him to excel...so give him Seguin or Lucic or Savard and maybe he can earn his salary. Playing him 20+ minutes a night with a 50 yr old man and a hopeless Wheeler is literally pointless

    It's crazy you guys can type with your head so firmly placed up your arses. Bergeron's job every night is to play against the best opposing line. Therefore, he's not going to get a ton of opportunities to score and having a positive +/- is great.

    I think people that bash Bergeron really don't understand what he brings to the team - and it's not just faceoffs.

    Absolutely nrguy- Nash 99 just doesn't get it. Bergie is playing against the other team's best, and he is doing it with Recchi [ no longer very good at any part of the game] and Wheeler, if he could finish Bergie's feeds he would lead the team in goals. The problems start with Claude and continue thru team members like Recchi,Thornton, Ryder, Wheeler, Ference, Boychuck. Just enough misplays to disrupt any continuity and solid play. Also, let's not forget that Savvy is not up to speed, and is only a smidgen away from depression. Not the best scenario for tutoring Seguin. A different post indicated that Neely is taking notes, and watching the same problems we all see.

    I don't think it is our centers we need help with we need a fast winger who can score those important goals. Horton/Ryder I will give credit their scoring and Lucic scoring but should get back to being the pounder also. The other problem is PP we need an experience d man with good blue line knowledge and fast puck carrier ie Kaberle not a bad rental for remaining season but what will toronto want for him big ? we can start with Wheels,Paille (3.25 mill) and good prospect go from there. Burke will laugh but catch his attention anyways. Also a lot of threaders are talking about Yandle but PHX. is fighting for playoff spot he would a tough go but would be worth it over Kaberle.

    For our sniper wait until deadline to see who is available and which Bruin to  move only winger i can think of at the moment is Moulson he can score if he had good set up center ie savard.
