Surprise surprise, Montreal gets a powerplay in last minute of a game on home ice. This is getting very old. On the flip side, how do the Sabres get 6 powerplays and the Bruins only 1 the other night at T.D. Garden ?

Boston's fans see what they wanna see... they're obsessed with the Habs lol love it.... so funny to see their frustrations when it comes to Mtl priceless

Just stating the facts. Habs have had the most powerplays in the league, Bruins have had the least. Look it up yourself.

why do we care about this?   We are all starting to sound like RWTK.  He has a cult follwing.

    Re: Tampa Bay at Montreal

This might be the worst thread ever.  And we've had a lot of that lately.  Crying about the refs is bad enough.  Crying about the refs in an out of town game is absurd.

if you think there is a conspiracy that has the refs giving calls to Montreal, why watch any game?  If that were the case, you're suggesting that the outcome of the games are fixed.  This would be a worldwide conspiracy.  One basketball kid shaves points and it's a month-long story.  If the refs in the NHL were calling penalties intentionally to change the outcome of the game, it would be a Supreme Court case.

Hockey is not wrestling.  The refs don't want to see this team or that team win.  Yeah, they'll make mistakes.  Marchand gets his stick near the skate of a player just as the player steps on the puck.  Arm goes up.  You know why?  It's much more likely that Marchand tripped him than that he stepped on the puck.  Refs are human.  They may make a judgement call based on the player, but no NHL ref is going to call a game in a certain fashion that helps Montreal win.

This is something that would be explained to an 8 year old by his father at the game.

Cant agree more.  Ive heard way too much of this the last couple yrs.  teams still need to score on those chances.  And yes the bruins get chincy calls their was as well.  The fact they dont dive(seguin is borderline diver team) is something i love about the Bruins.  Refs make mistakes

who makes the first brutal penalty post against pitt today?
