    The Year Of The Overtime.

Yet another OT game in Vancouver. Is it just me or does it seem like alot of OT games so far? Sure it's exciting but I can do do without an OT in game 7 in Boston. My heart starts to race just thinking about it. GO BRUINS!

It's not your imagination, dez.  I've counted 13 games going into OT.  Here's the breakdown of OT games by series to date:

    NYR/Ott - 2
    Bos/Wash - 3
    Philly/Pens - 1
    LA/Van - 1
    Stl/SJ - 1
    Chi/Phx - 5

The on-going Fla/NJ set and the completed Nsh/Det round are the only series that have not had any extra-time.  Perhaps this speaks to the teams generally being evenly matched.

The Chi/Phx series with all the games going to OT and Chicago scoring with the goalie pulled in three games is crazy. Let's hope the Bruins can win game 7 without an OT. Goodbye Vancouver, Go Bruins!

I wouldn't mind a couple OT games next round, but definitely not in Game 7.
