    Amazed no-one has been fired for this mess. Even more surprised no-one at BDC is doing anything about it.

    After two seasons in the NHL, Tyler Seguin will earn more than Phil Kessel.

    Jeremy's payout of the existing contracts will be discounted 20% after the new CBA.

    We have not heard much about Nathan Horton. ???. Perhaps the signings of Seguin and Marchand could be the beginning of the end for Nat (in Boston). Seeing that this is his last year before UF; his recent health; and Lucic, Rask and others coming up to new contracts, a new contract may not be in the cards for Good Ole Nat.

    Shoot out the lights, Nat - make them want you!

    Horton is damaged goods.  I'd be surprised if he returns after this contract.

    BDC made changes to their forum at the same time a hockey strike is looming.  Very daunting when it comes to discussions that are vibrant and awe inspiring.  Some of the best posters are visiting but not contributing at this point.  Kennedy posted recently.  So I will remain positive.  

    As for the Bruins coverage, the Bs are not on the same level as the Celtics.  Who knows why?

    Nathan Horton has been cleared.  Management did seek out Parise but generally they did not seek a replacement.  So, I have to believe Nathan will be back.  I tend to think like Bergeron after his first concussion.  If that the case Horton contract next time will not be in the 4 mil range.

    Wow, has happened to the format of this forum? 

    I haven't been back much since the end of last season, but I wanted to catchup from some of my favorite posters here: SanDog, NAS, BadHab, Wheatskins, BsLegion, Red75, RHO, BookBoy and the ever colorful Stanley among others (p.s. what happened to shuperman....really enjoyed his comments).

     

    I haven't given up on the forum and it might simply be a case of not being used to the new format.


    Hope you all had a great summer and last time I checked, the Leafs are still tied for first!

    Oates, I cannot agree more.  Meanwhile I will have to check out junior hockey and AHL hockey to fill the need for the best sport ever.  Again, snowshoeing or reading may just be the thought as we all linger in the malaise of greed speak.  BTW to all, I do not watch American football until November.  Cheers as I live in my depressed state.  Hehe.
