i thought 44 struggled as well.  on a positive note, i prefer this 4th line.

I thought about Seidenberg, but he at least recovered his mistakes.  McQuaid looked downright terrible on the first two goals, and Lord only knows what Boychuk was thinking as he stood still halfway behind the net for the third goal.

Thomas was a mess during the third.

Seids got beaten to the outside earlier in the game, and chased to the point, turning away leading to the lane that led to Dubinski's goal (I think). There a couple of other times, he seemed to be chasing.

Thomas was trying to do too much, too aggressive tonight.

Right now I think the Sheriff should be in ahead of McQuaid! Kaberle is known for his defensive lapse's so we can't be surprised about that. Seids game has been going downhill since the all-star break. He's played better as of late, but when he makes a mistake it seems to always be a costly one. Boychuk has far too many brain farts for my taste. However, we're pretty much stuck with him unless we want to replace him with Kamper!

I hope he was laughing at himself although I got no kick out of his performance.

He wasn't laughing.  He was squinting.  I watched it a couple of times, because I thought the same thing at first.

Tonight was a bloody shame.  Its not often they pump so many past Lundqvist and they wasted them by largely being so poor behind their own blueline after the first period.  They don't need this kind of performance in the not too distant future.

    12!

I'm pretty sure what ever offensive upsides he could bring are being overshadowed by his weak defense. I think he took off for a hotdog on the GTG.

I wonder if ATL would trade Stuart for him?

So teams playing desperate playoff hockey cause opposing nondeserving trophy-winning goalies to let small cars drive through their legs?
