Thomas struggles mightily against Habs for some reason. No wins are easy in this league. Will be a dog fight on Thursday.

Tukka_fall: I know you hate Rask, but saying Thursday with TT in net would be an "easy victory" is asinine.

Montreal has completely owned Thomas this season (and throughout his career if you wanna really look at the numbers)

    Thanks for playing though.

Thank you coach for not playing the 2nd stringer in a important game. Nice job by Looch on his 30th as well. Montreal and a easy victory Thursday with TT in net..

Thomas watches and does nothing as in most his wins the second half, while his team dominates the last 50 minutes to win easily, despite TT giving up the first goal.

Were there... ANY... shots by New Jersey in the second or third period?  Oh yeah, that slap shot from 65 feet that hit the crossbar.  Oops, not a shot.

Oh I'm sure he'll be brilliant Thursday.

Holy crap Tuuka_Fall you have competition!!!

Actually, your right, Thomas didn't keep his team in the game the first period. That was a weak Kovalchuk goal. Totally Timmy's fault.

Re: Thomas carries Bruins to big victory.

Just why, I mean why does there always and I mean always, have this stupidity carry on after every game, between the TT and Rask haters and always fueled by a few trolls.

TT was brilliant in the last game and should be playing the Habs as he is the best goalie in the league right now, despite the stupidity against him.  The B's as a whole have brutal games against the Habs.

Except when we met them in the playoffs when TT, not Rask but TT, swept the Habs against Price.

TT will not be playing the rest of the games, that is not clod's style and his style does not have much of a variance, and it would be stupid to overwork your goalie before going into the playoffs when you do not have to.

After a B's win, they will have a 5 point lead and their magic # will be 5, so either 5 hab losses or Bos wins or combination to that total will guarantee the B's 3rd overall.

TT will probably see only 1 of the final 4 games against NYR, NYI, Sens and NJ.  Hopefully Rask has gained more of his old play back and should TT falter in the playoffs, he would provide a winning combination and clod would have the knowledge to use it.

I usually don't bother with the goalie haters on here but according to PC we can count on TT playing in 6 or 7 of the final 10 games.  Get used to him whether you like him or not!

Tim Thomas is nothing more than an average goaltender. What a mockery of the Vezina trophy it will be if flipper gets it. Not even close to the best goalie in the League

For once in a long time it would be nice if the forwards and defenseman carry this team to a big victory and give these poor goalies a well deserved rest.

kelvana, tuukka_fall knows nothing about goaltending. first ask were tuukka_fall was after Toronto game with this play tim thomas is instead of the ahl goalie when he knows damn well that thomas let in 4 softies to the Marlies call ups. second he has just got an axe to grind cause last night he blamed Montreals loss on carey price. dude watch the games before u just see the score on the bottom ticker on espn. price stood on his head and only let in 1 goal in the other was a empty netter last night. he was just out-dualed by ryan miller.

Re: Thomas carries Bruins to big victory.

    C'mon guys really?

You don't have hate on one cuz you like the other! We have the best tandem in the NHL hands down. TT is having a Vezina season and Rask has done as good as can be expected for not getting regular starts for the first time ever.

I'll settle it for you all:

Rask bashers - Rask has a fantastic skill set and will be our #1 for many seasons to come, get over it!

TT bashers - He is unorthodox but gets the job done with a great compete level and athleticism, hes won the Vezina before and will win it again, get over it!

Lets just go one week where the Tuukka bashers and TT bashers take some time off and bash Price instead! Your B's fans right? Act like it! Neither of our goalies deserves bashing this year, seriously.
