Who do you think we could trade Timmy for?
He's getting old and his no-show at the White House was a bad choice..

Yes, we should trade the MVP of the Stanley Cup Champions because liberals are offended by his political views.
You would make a great member of the Venezuelan government. You should send Chavez a resume. he loves to punsih anyone who disagrees with him and he can always use another totalitarian henchman. -

We could trade him for lots of players, but none of them will help us at a cup run like Timmy will. Did you happen to watch the playoffs last year?? -

actually everyone is available at the right price including TT last year was a historic run and performance that is probably not something that can be duplicated this team can be good for awhile and Rask is just as capable when the team plays well -

Actually the KPD and Fluto rants are all because they were suprised, and had no "inside" info. That's not news to us since we get more info sooner, and in more detail, from other sources. -

Yeah... It seems everything these two guys write about these days gets spun right to TT's political views. That article on Z was great except for the 1.5 jabs / paragraph at TT. Next KPD story will touch on how Chris Kelly had two classmates in the GTA who would leave the room during morning prayer and national anthem. -

YEP land of the FREE and HOME of the BRAVE..... but if one of those is brave enough to exhibit his personal freedom and not show up where and when the LIBS want and do exactly what the LIBS want then he needs to be boiled, and served as an example to the reat of the country not to screw with the Politburo and Pravda. -

BRUINS will win their 2nd straight Stanley cup with TT ....maybe this summer would be the perfect timing to trade TT + a draft pick for a high value player such as Rick Nash or Bobby Ryan ...

They're both extremely hypocritical. Claiming politics should've never been brought into it yet their jobs depend on catering to a certain political ideology. At least Fluto doesn't come across as a spoiled ten year old in his writing. -

"Another one had the Bruins dishing Tim Thomas to Chicago. Perhaps that could be the University of Vermont special, with the Bruins sending their ex-Catamount to the Hawks for former Catamount Viktor Stalberg"
Seriously?? I like Stalberg, and think he could rack up the points if given more ice time somewhere, but how does he fit this Bruins team, and how the holy heck is he worth TT straight up? KPD, who'd be our backup?
He's gotta stop these insane rumours. -

I hear John Kerry is a half decent hockey player. KPD would definitely approve of that one....
Seriously though, how does Thomas for Stallberg make the Bruins better? And for that matter how does Vancouver afford Perry? Maybe if they dump Luongo but he's also got them trading away Schnieder. Madness! -

When Thomas said at the allstar game that this controversy is all media driven- he po'd a bunch of them and they always have the last word. Pierre LeBrun was on the radio here in Vancouver and they jumped all over Thomas. These pukes want to make the story not write the story. They want to be the story. It's sad that Boston reporters are just as bad for this. -

At least KDP and Fluto haven't stooped to this level:
"...you know Thomas would not have done this with the liberal Democrat Bill Clinton in the White House. Truth is, he felt free to dis Barack Obama, because Obama is black."

aaTim Thomas’s no-trade clause in Boston ends on July 1, so the Bruins theoretically could move the soonto-be 38-year-old goalie and install Tuukka Rask as the No. 1 if his play drops off in the next few months or upper management doesn’t think it can abide by Thomas’s snub of the White House visit. Thomas makes $3 million next year, but his cap hit is $5 million on the last year of his $20-million, four-year package. Is Rask ready to be a starter? The stats say yes, but the jury is still out because he hasn’t been a playoff goalie.
Jim Matheson's story in today's Edmonton Journal. Makes sense.
