    Three words for Seguin

    "Get in there."

If he's going to make a difference, or even have any sort of positive impact, he has to get in there.  He can't trail the play and wait for the pass.  He can't jockey for position and go second into the corner.  He can't play the perimeters.

Get in there.   Play tough.  Hit and be hit.  Take your bruises and deliver bruises.

Don't nancy around the ice and wait to score.  Go to the net and make things happen.

    Get in there.

    Re: Three words for Seguin

CJ had Seguin on such a short leash during the regular season, can't imagine how short it will be for the ECF...

A couple of other options from CJ:

    "Take a seat"

    "Paille, you're up"

I hope not, of course, I hope this kid's layoff has him playing with some renewed passion.  He certainly has youth on his side, as well as, plenty of skill and rest.

    "Fill the net"

i was thinking of adding the "take a seat/take a blow" too, but i doubt it would be paille getting the call, fair bet it would be campbell centering pev and rydes

Tyler must be so starved for action that he may get into a scrap on his first shift.

    Look out Martin St. Louis!

Not being a mucker in the corners and along the boards I could agree.
What Shot is trying to say is he doesn't go to the dirty zones,  front of the net, play a tougher game.
He shies away from hitting and stays away from some areas where he could get hit.
I don't expect him to be a wrecking ball but he still needs to learn to be tougher.
A good comparison of a similar player Seguin could be, become is Joe Sacic.

4 wins from the Stanley cup finals and everyone is worried about how much Claude will play 19 yr old Tyler ?  Get a life everyone ! Claude got us here by playing experienced role players that don't make too many mlistakes under pressure.

Tyler will have his day in the sun. First he has to mature and be ready. He'll play all right, but don't expect him to play more than 7 to 10 minutes per game!

Winning the Stanley Cup is more important than stroking someone's ego!

Having said this...Go Tyler ! Prove to everyone that being picked 2nd overall was not a blunder !!!

Wonder if Seguin has ever been featured as the "High Energy Play of the Game".

I say best of luck to the kid. Hopefully he makes something of his few chances and forced CJ to make a tough decision when Bergy is back.
