Only one I can think of. Though before they traded for Schneider, I thought Lou might jumpo in there.

What about edmonton.   Team at least has a shot at the playoffs.  Theyve been known to grab goalies in age.  ie cujo, roli.   I could see edmonton as a great spot for him.

You just don't take a year off at his age and come back and play at the same level he did before. Not gona happen.  Long shot at best he makes the U.S. olympic team.  With that being said he will always have my respect for his Conn Smythe playoff performance that helped the Bruins win the cup in 2011. I wish him the best except when he plays against the Bruins ! I hope we light him up. Lol

Ah when I was 39 I started to run again as I was dealing with my mid life crises.  So, how does a fine tuned athlete take a year off then return at the same time in their life.  Risk? Yup.  Back to Yoga classes TT.  With the glut of wanna be goalies out there, why would a team take a goalie who took a year off to convalesce?  TT is no Dominic Hasek!

    Don't judge me monkey!

Agreed.  They have 25 year old Steve Mason who would probably benefit from watching and learning from a two-time Vezina and Stanley Cup winner as Rask was said to do.

It's not just "can he play"?  It's also a question of whether a team wants to put up with all the extra baggage that goes along with Timmy.

Flyers?  Do you think they want yet another flake goalie?

    Re: Timmy Time?

Philly or Islanders are my guess, as well.

I still feel that Philly is going to make an offer sheet to Rask. They don't seem to have alot of options. It may also be why Rask has not signed yet. His agent knows there could be a huge offer sheet coming.

If Philly does not end up getting Rask, they may take a one-year flyer (no pun intended), on TT.

I also mentioned the Islanders, because, well, they're crazy and could do almost anything.

Thomas may end up being a camp tryout candidate. If I was a GM, I would sure want to know if he could still play, before offering him a contract.

    Re: Timmy Time?

TT lost a lot of respect with a lot of fans including myself when he decided not to play the last year of his contract. But the one thing i would never do is count him out. As we have learned he is one of the fiercest competitors that have played this game.

With that being said i do agree that it is almost impossable to do what he is doing at his age.

Okay I changed my mind ....................Canucks.............. because Vancouver wouldn't be normal without a goalie circus.

Also with Thomas as a Canuck teammate, Luongo should get his wish of TT pumping his tires.

It makes me sick that Bruins fans show so much disrespect to the man that brought lord Stanley back to Boston!  if you clown TT you are simply an azzhat.
