I like your list but I still put mine in this order-1)chara 2)TT 3)Bergeron 4)Lucic 5)Horton I think Lucic plays a more physical game than Horton with a near identical offensive contribution.and not to downplay TT's performance so far but I think Zee is a big part of it.He cleans up his own zone and then has been joining the rush more often.and Bergy is just being himself even though the points aren't always there.NYR game was perfect example.He didn't get a point but Lucic's goal game as a result of Bergeron's strong forecheck leading to a turnover.Bergeron is the best penalty killer on the NHL's best PK unit. -

If Krecji is healthy; put him in the 2 slot, move all three others down, and bump Chara off the list. -

The difference being that Lucic likely wouldn't have been knocked out in a collision with Oshie(by the way,is anyone surprised St.Louis has gone into a tailspin since Oshie got hurt?He's quite a player).I value Lucic's physical contribution more than most but there's no arguing DK's skill level.Both very important to Boston. -

Note, Bergeron is my favorite player. I have missed a few games lately because of work but I'm surprised so many of you have him in your top 5 currently. It had seemed like he found his offensive skill set at the very end of last season, but in the games I have seen this year, he seems to have misplaced it again. Best defensive forward on the team, Yes, but for me he's not in the top 5 until he's playing at a consistently high level in the offensive zone as well.
Also interesting note, when Savard returnseven if he plays well, he's not close to cracking the top 5, and I think that says more about the B's roster then it does about Savard's play.
Exceeding Expectations
1 Thomas
2 Marchand
3 Campbell (along with Marchand and Ryder this is the 3rd line not the 4th)
4 Horton (Maybe I should have known how good he was, but I forgot how much a true Sniper/Goal Scorer/Complete player Really changes the game., we haven't seen this since Neely.)
5 Lucic
BTW they don't fit on my list but, I've been pleasantly surprised by Wheeler and Ryder this year. -

Not to mention how many times he's set others up for easy goals and they failed to finish.Can't fault Bergeron for someone not cashing in when the opportunity is there. -

Yeah, pbergeron37, how good is this guy playing? Personally I would keep him with Horton and Lucic all season long
