Considering the tough guys for a moment:

    Terry

    PJ

    Shawn

Were they all just as tough or the era of hockey changed the game so much that Shawn really does not belong in the same class of tough?

I actually liked watching P.J Stock fight. He did entertain me.

Toughest Bruin? Who the heck knows? Tough to me wouldn't be just limited to fights, but playing hurt, playing injured etc..No way us fans know everything about that stuff.

Fighting does not mean tough but I was just asking considering fights have changed so much does that mean that Shawn was not as tough as Terry or PJ

Street hockey is great for kids. It’s energetic, competitive, and skillful. And best of all it keeps them off the street.

The title says toughest Bruin all time not best fighter or most intimidating.  What he's endured makes him my choice so go back to your shuffle board game.

I'd have to go with O'Reilly or Jonathan.  Those guys fought all the time, in an era when nobody would bail you out, and neither of them were real big guys.  They fought bigger guys regularly and they both seemed to enjoy it too.  The guys with a screw loose are usually the toughest, and they both had that going for them.  Useful players too.
