Trade bait: 10 players who could move before Feb. 28

                              http://www.mynhltraderumors.com/

    Pierre LeBrun

"looks at 10 players who could be moved by the February 28th trade deadline; Brad Richards, Tomas Vokoun, Tomas Kaberle, Joffrey Lupul, Alexei Kovalev, Tim Connolly, Jason Arnott, Jamie Langenbrunner, Devin Setoguchi, and Joni Pitkanen"

To me like St. Louis, Dallas, Chicago. Carolina and New Jersey would look to get back expiring contracts and draft picks Chiarelli has them both.

    Joni Pitkanen 4mil UFA
    Jamie Langenbrunner $2.8Mil UFA
    Jason Arnott 4.5Mil UFA
    Erik Cole 2.9Mil UFA

    for

Blake Wheeler 2.2Mil RFA (New team controls rights appealing)
Michael Ryder 4Mil UFA (expiring contract change of scenery might do good)

Mark Stuart 1.67Mil UFA (expiring contract change of scenery might do good)
Daniel Paille 1.1Mil (under contract for two years PK specialist)

I'd like Jamie Langenbrunner and Joni Pitkanen but Erik Cole and Pitkanen would not be bad either. The Bruins would be tougher, harder to play against with more mobility on the blueline. Some players just really do need a change of scenery (Yah I know I harp on it allot)

I'm not putting up trade 4 for 4 but use any combination you like to get what you want so you're suggestions could actually help me out or you could find other contracts that are expiring or maybe not expiring from other teams to trade for. www.capgeek.com

Possibly you could be like Roler and think that Santa will fix the Bruins current problems for being nice to the Bruins inconsistent wingers on the 25th LoL! That may be for some to just leave the Bs alone as is.

Looking for trade combinations from you.

There is only one player on that list that would improve the Bruins roster and that is Pitkanen.  Arrnot and Langenbrunner are old and almost finished, not worth their current contracts and I do not see anything they would bring that we don't already have.

Pitkanen, nope.  He is all offense and no defense per se.  Actually he would be fine if you gave up very little.  Not going to happen.  Hell I would take Kaberle over Pitkanen.  Really no defensemen up there to consider.

My vote would be for Devin Setoguchi.  He is a horse and has some goal scoring ability at least better than Wheeler.  At 23, yup take him.  UFA next year so.... he needs to prove himself.  Smart gamble, oh omg Johnathan Cheecho haunting just occurred!  Nah, it is only an aberration.

Bard Richards, yes, take a chance.  Centers the Bs don't need but goal scorers the Bs do!  Patrice on the wing!  So don't give up much to get him!  An more importantly only if the team does not start to play more consistently very soon.
Coach UFAs are the next subject if the team ends up in the same position as last year... second rounders!

    Pascal Dupuis
    Chad Larose
    Cam Janssen
    Bryce Salvador
    Brooks Laich
    Scottie Upshall

I'm not sure on injury, contract situations, or availabilty ...apologies - but these are all players I'd assume aren't overly expensive and like what they bring.

Really JW ? A little toughness and grit added to the Bruins. Just kidding I do like some of those players you've listed and there needs to be some change of some of the Bs wingers.

Yeeeesh.  I wouldn't be happy with any of them coming to Boston.

None of the players mentioned, makes me feel any warmer on a cold winter's night.
It also appears more and more certain, that as long as Julien is coach, RYDER ain't going anywhere.
Expect him to be re-signed next summer for between 2M to 2.5M cap hit.
