    What he did was disrespectful to his teammates.  Plus he didn't have the guts to say he did it because he's anti-Obama, which he clearly is.  So it sounds like something he thought up on a whim.  I'll bet it tainted the experience, at least a small bit, for some of the guys.

    That's not a team-first guy -- it's a me-first guy.

    I wouldn't be surprised if he does get traded, and I wouldn't mind at all.

    Tim Thomas made a decision based on principle. He didn't want meet a man he believes is part of the problem in this country. Yes it was a team event, but it was not a mandatory event. I have no issue with what Thomas did and I applaud him for standing up for what he believes in. I would be more upset if he refused to go visit injured soldiers in the hospital than passing on meeting with the president.
