    TSN feature on Jordan Tootoo

Some really interesting parts to this video.  What struck me was the concept of being out of your world, the contrast between how he was raised and the life he lives now.  What bothered me was the talk of the chirping he receives.  I know there are few limits placed on trash talk, but it speaks to me of the lack of respect players have for each other which is a cancer in the game in my opinion.
Anyway, like him or not you have to hope for his success in life.  It`s really much too early to declare victory, but he`s heading in the right direction.  I wish him luck.

Great story, its strange how we really never get insight on the personal life of athletes, it hits home in some ways and to me gives me chills seeing how someone can over come there problems. Kinda gives me a feeling of pride.

I have always been fascinated by the Tootoo brothers and I started following Terrence while Jordin was still in junior.  Terrence wasn't as good, but he played the same fearless style.  I saw him in an ECHL game in Dayton Ohio and he looked tiny but had two fights and went after everyone on the other team.  Really sad when I heard that he took his own life.

Anyhow, their background is fascinating and maybe eating raw whale meat has made them a little crazy...
