Um, did someone misplace the decimal point?

Ya, he's not too bad in a pinch when our good goalie needs some time off...

That is unreal. What a run by Tuukka. If he keeps this up he will get quite the raise.

You have to do a double-take when you see the GAA over the past 5, its just not a number generally associated with a GAA.

Its the equivalent to carving the akia off of Czechoslovakia on the puck, putting it in the next, "thats all you get tonight, better luck tomorrow!".

On any other team, the No.1 goalkeeper would be hearing "footsteps" and looking over his shoulder, but Tim Thomas remains the best goalie on the planet, and, I suspect, is Tuuka's biggest fan.

Those are insane numbers. I wouldn't mind seeing how Tuukka does against Vancouver next game.

No way.  The only thing this gets Tuukka is a trade.  Its ridiculous having a talent like this sitting on the bench 2 of 3 games, and he's blocked in Boston.  This is his last year in Boston.

Tuukka said he wants to have a long career in boston even if that means being the backup for a few more years

    Flyers could use him.

    Tuuka is going nowhere.

Also going nowhere - Seguin, Marchand, Bergeron, Krejci, Lucic, Chara, Peverley and Seidenberg. These folks will never play for another NHL team for the rest of their careers.

Going nowhere now, but maybe later (next year) - Campbell, Kelly, Boychuk and Horton.

The rest of their careers?!  I think that's going a bit overboard... Chara, yes.  Seidenberg, maybe.  But the other guys are so youuuuung.

Even Brian Trottier moved on at the end of his Islanders career (and won 2 more cups with the Pens).

Washington Capitals got a 1st and a 2nd for Valamov, can you imagine what the Bruins will get back for Tuuka?
    2 first and a second?
1 first, 1 second and a Top flight prospect plus roster player?
....good time here in Boston indeed....

i laughed for 2 1/2 hours last night. it is comical, the bruins only need one or two goals to win every night...and they score 6,7,8,9 goals! what team is going to win 4 out of 7 against this team? they haven't lost a TOTAL of 4 games in over 2 months!!! think about that

    Don't get too cocky, adk.

Stick to baseball, SoxFan. Tuukka absolutely loves it in Boston, and understands the situation. He's a competitive player, but is embracing the role he's in right now and is really earning the trust of his team. With the way he's playing, you can't expect any team to out-bid the Bruins in the offseason.
