Ward : Hero against the B's and Zero againt the NYR

Took a 4miutes high stick penalty with less than a minute to play last night ...with 7 secs left to the game NYR scored the tying goal and on the 2nd penalty scored the winning goal in OT ...OUCH ! !   Ward no more a hero ! !

I know his teammates would've been trying to make him feel better but Ward must've really felt like crap in the room waiting for the OT, knowing he had to go out and serve the rest of his penalty after NYR had already tied it up. That penalty box looked like the lonliest place on earth for Ward, even though he probably felt like every eye in the place was on him.

I was wondering if there would be some reaction.  Glad there wasn't.

Couldn't happen to a nicer, more overpaid 4rth liner.

As I the Rangers almost as much as the Habs -- that game was a killer last night. This Ranger team must lead a clean life. Ward found a way to bust me up twice in a very short time. Sometimes you have to be a lttle lucky to be good but the Rangers win the luck award of the year.
