Well considering that Phil was responsible for bringing the Lightning in. I think he probably does have a little bit more loyalty to the Bolts. I can understand that. -

As red said.......the guy has been a Bolt for a long time and alot of blood, sweat and tears into bringing them to the NHL. Still, he admitted he's likely going to have some emotions going when he looks up to the rafters......and see's the #7 hanging there. Who wouldn't? -

Good for Phil! Let the man the speak his mind the way he wishes and express his current passions as feels necessary. One cannot and should not live in the past, especially when those Glory Days are 40 years in the past.
