[QUOTE]In Response to Re: What can Bruins get if they trade Brad Marchand : Yah great comparison of accomplishments Brad had 7 points in the last 5 games of the Stanley Cup but you mention Thornton and McCarty in the same breath as Marchand you're clueless in assessment of players you hate. What else makes you look like a fool is comparing veterans who couldn't carry Brad's jock on open ice. Yah I know "You don't know that for sure" or "What does that mean ?"...

The subject was players who are on winning teams are deemed "winners" and therefore carry a larger value.  The original post described Marchand's championships.  I pointed out a couple of awful players who also had played on championship teams.  I didn't suggest that one was better than the other because that wasn't the subject.  The subject was whether or not players who played on champship teams carried a larger value.

I think if you look at Thornton and McCarty, player who were on multiple championship teams, it debunks the theory.

Your comments about what Marchand did in the final games of the Cup last year are irrelevant.  Again, stick to hockey, Sandog.  You know hockey.  You are a respected hockey mind here.  As for this Chowda-esque attempt to make me look bad, well my friend, it is looking very Chowda-esque.  We all know how that story ends.

Dead on with SanDog analysis, he is a great poster.  Ahhh every thing else with the "Chowda" things goes way back to the depths of summer time blues circa 2010.  Now that was pure boredom on who was right when the citations were deleted before proper rebuttal.  So stop the slinging and stay on the subject, hockey, you are one of the best on here for that.  BTW I completely agree Marchand is an excellent player with only one year's experience in the NHL!!!!!!!!!!  His contract was very honorable considering today's news, I humbly say I was incorrect on his selfishness. Lastly, without Sandog and NAS, the Boston.com would exist but it would be rather boring.  Ego tripping is a dangerous thing.

The subject was what each player meant to their respective teams during their cup runs which you fail to admit. That shows you have no intelligence on the matter because you refuse to comprehend out of hatred of players.

And if you comparing me to or lopping me in of what you think of Chowdah I take that as a compliment and in my eyes you never made him look bad. You try and chase women off this board because you get off on it.

I just wouldn't know what to do if you copied and pasted more quotes from other posters which means nothing to me. What does matter is your horrid assessments of current Bruins players and prospects.

I will give you this, good guess on Marchand's contract and it was a guess.

Of course it was a guess, but it was an educated guess using history, current contracts and recently signed contracts.  I using logic instead of my black and gold glasses.

But, hey, what do I know?  I'm terrible at assessing hockey players, right?

My final point which you will not get or claim not to understand because you will not give into Blindness created by hatred (You probably hate Marchand and Savard because they are short but made it to the show in spite of height).

I hate Ryder because I always felt that he is and was a bum. The reason was of his work ethic which Savard and Marchand do not lack. I still believe Michael could have been a perennial 35-40 goal scorer, not just a 30 goal scorer if he had the heart of Kobasew or Sobotka. I was able to forget my hatred of Glyder, for the time being, because of how well he played for the Bruins during the playoffs. I gave Michael credit were it was due.

No matter what Marchand accomplishes during his young career, no matter how many friends Savard does or didn't have on the Bruins, no matter what Marc accomplished as a playmaker before the Bruins or while he was in Boston you will find something, anything to spit your venom at Marc regardless.

That to me shows you can't be objective on Marchand's and Savard's on ice accomplishments so much you need to debate how they supposedly acted in a locker room or at a Casino party or if they should have their name on the cup or not. You will look to find anything to pick at either player to spite them on this board.

So much so that you can't wait to see if Brad gets off to a slow start this season or counting the days till Savard officially announces his retirement so you can way in on how much of "a little faker" he was to get off on your own statements.

Keep on copying n pasting my previous posts nASS like you did too Chowdah it won't make a bit of difference to me.

Chowda, I know there is no love loss for NAS on your part.  But to say NAS isnt a smart quality poster is wrong.  He may come across as fingers down a chalk board and I have had my outs with him as well.  But dude knows his hockey.  And although San and I had a similar peepee contest last year I think he is also one of the best ones on here.  In fact the reason I said mega powers is b/c both would be in the top 5 of this board.  The fact they have the Ric Flair legend status b/c of posts makes them mega powers.  Whooooooooa!

I dont agree with lots on here.  Still think they are smart hockey people and enjoy debating with them.  NAS is NAS.  I tend to have a lot of the same thought process as him.  I just try and deliver it to the peeps a little less harsh.  San is smart and loves to challenge my pts.  Which is cool.   B/C he isnt blabbering a bunch of nonsense.
