What do the Bs do with Zach Hamil

Is there anything to do, can this kid ever play in the show, is he a lifetime AHLer, does he have any value in a trade?

A bag of pucks and maybe some new tires for the Zamboni.

Hate to say it, but Red is totally right.
He's had what, 4 years? and hasn't risen to any occasion.
    He's chum.

A team will take a gamble on him, but we'll only get a draft pick in return.

Red, Hamil didn't seem out of place with the big club.I think he'll eventually be an NHL regular. It's just unlikely that it'll be with Boston.

Zach Hamill is still very young and has way too much talent not to make the NHL ...I wouldnt be surprised if ine day he becomes a regular and gets around 70pts ...

There isn't anything they can do. Players bust, it's o.k. it happens.

He might catch on somewhere and do something if given enough minutes.

Couture hadn't done much more than Hamill until last year.  I think they sign him if he takes a two way deal at 90k/900k again and stay patient.  They don't have a lot of guys breaking down the door in Providence, and that way, you never know.

I wonder what he is worth as a RFA this year?  According to capgeek, he made $1.31667 million last year:

Which was almost as much as Marchand and McQuaid ($1.39667 million)

He'll be a bottom 9 guy at some point. Doesn't look like it'll be anytime soon though.

Hamil will be scooped for an early 2nd rounder or a throw in to a bigger trade to acquire more picks.

Trade him for a pack of smokes and count yourself lucky, especially if it's a 25 pack.

He is scarecrow thin.  He's slow.  He's not that strong.  Not that good a skater.  Not that good a shot.

He's got some vision and can connect a pretty decent pass.

How much of your or anyone else's interest does that grab?

Montreal traded a second round pick for Liles.  Boston traded a second round pick for Kelly.  No one is trading a high second round pick for a guy who scored nine goals in 68 AHL games in his third season.

All Im saying is Hamil could be thrown in a pre-draft package to sweeten a deal, if in fact the B's decide to move down.

THey will not be recieving a 2nd round pick st8 up for Zach, no..I agree there.

Re: What do the Bs do with Zach Hamil

Hamill is signed this year he is an RFA next season. I would like nothing more for Zack to just blow doors and be the first call up has this year to do it.

I've never played kick the dog with this kid some take longer it's up to Zack. As Book said he did OK when he played when he was called up but that's not good enough for a #7 pick.
