Wheats can't login - who know how to fix ?

Every time wheats tries to go to Boston.com he gets the message below.  He's tried different browsers, uninstalling/installing firefox, cleared the cache, he's tried to add the exception, but gets directed back to the same page

    What Should I Do?

If you usually connect to this site without problems, this error could mean that someone is

Seems to be a digital certificate problem on BDC. Maybe these links lead to something.

    "fix"?

Nah, I kid.  We need Wheats here for the playoffs!

On Firefox:  I believe there is an option for "I understand the risks."  Following that, tell him to click on all of the options that say, "Yeah, I know.  I want to do this."

Another option:  For the time being, use chrome.

Not another option:  Internet Explorer.  You're better off using your library card than IE.

Yeah, NAS is right. Forget all the other stuff. I had success logging into BDC with Firefox this way:

    ·         Sign In

    ·         I Understand the Risks

    ·         Add Exception

    ·         Get Certificate

    ·         Confirm Security Exception

    ·         Log In Page appears (E-mail and Password)

Re: Wheats can't login - who know how to fix ?

Well the only other thing I can think of for Wheats is perhaps there is a problem in Control Panel (assuming he's using Microsoft Windows), possibly with Windows Firewall or Internet Options where an adjustment needs to be made. Possibly he may also need the latest Windows update.

There's a host of other possible problems in Windows beyond those. One simple thing could be with User Rights, such as if he's logged in as an Administrator or just Regular User. Administrator would give him more rights to search the Web.

Have him try clearing his cache.  (Network tab under options).

During the recent issues with the forums, I've had to do that a couple times to get things loading properly.

Wheats should have no trouble logging in now. It seems like BDC fixed their problem. When you log in now, you get a HTTPS prompt, meaning secure communications.

II'mm baacck! Thanks to everyone for their help.

I've got a lot to get off my chest.

The B's limped into the playoffs just like 2011 with lacklustre play. Thankfully, this post season didn't start as badly as 2011. Anyway, they have their work cut out for themselves. If they put their minds to it, they have all the tools they need.

Here's to hoping for the right frame of mind because it will lead to a long playoff run.

The one good thing going for the B's is that they have run this marathon before and know what it takes. When other teams begin to fade from the pace of the race, the Bruins will shine down the stretch - with the right frame of mind - Boston Strong!
