Who Is On The Way Out?

For Sure:   Marchand, Bartkowski, Caron, Iginla, Thornton.

Maybe:       Soderberg  (if he could bring a good return only), Chara (his time has passed, I'm afraid)

    Longshot:   Lucic (for blockbusters only)

I would take a bag of chips for Bartkowski.

I'd be upset if they traded Soderberg, I love him. unless its a star in return, I wouldn't do it.

Lucic looked rough this series but he's a bruin.

    Chara... yeah.

Marchand i'd take whatever for him

I think Iggy and Marchand stay.

I see Kelly, McQuaid, Bart and Thornton gone for sure...

I'm not sure about Iginla.  He could return on a one year deal with bonuses like this year.  Chara and Lucic will probably retire as Bruins.  Soderberg, why?  A 1M cap hit for a player of his caliber, why on Earth would you want to trade him?

Re: Who Is On The Way Out?

Lucic isn't going anywhere  and I don't believe either is Marchand .  Chara is just too funny to comment... I do believe it is time for DK to go out west... Him and a few pieces could fetch a good return... Bergeron is your #1 centre, Soderberg, Kelly, Campbell ... Bruins need to add some high offensive talent...for reference see Chicago Blackhawks who are going to win back to back Cups...

Towes, Sharp, Kane, Hossa...who can match that?

I'll agree w/ the first 5 but Chara, Carl & Milan are going nowhere.

McQuaid & Bartkowski will most probably be shopped....  maybe Johnson isn't re-signed if they feel Svedberg's ready....

up front, if Iggy's ready to take a deal similar to this year's he'll be back....  unless PC pulls the trigger on something unexpected like the Seguin deal, the only regular forwards is see in danger of not returning are Kelly and Eriksson....

Eriksson has to go. Not strong enough on the puck

    Bartkowski ... Gone

Iginla ... Gone (standing around too much in D Zone)

Chara ... ???? (not for him, don't even make playoffs)

Krejci ... Keep (sure this year in playoffs didn't play well, but really?)

Marchand ... Too many Seguin tendencies. Keep?

    Miller ... Keep

Kelly ... Gone (too much $$)

Thornton ... (Sadly agree with Stanley ... GONE!!)

They are going to be cap handicapped for a long time going forward paying that loser Rask 7.5 mil for the next 7 years when any minimum wage goalie off the scrap heap can and has put up similar numbers on this team under Julien and his goalie friendly system.

    so would trading march

    [/QUOTE]

I'd trade Marchand for a positive thinking speaker.  He's been crap since the Vancouver series and his giveaways turned bergeron into a D-zone specialist- Bergy missed more nets in this series than he did all of last year.  I'm starting to think Marchment and Julienne are dating.

I hope they keep the core of this team together. I'd re-sign Iginla if the price is right.

No way you trade Marchand, Lucic or Krejci.
