Who will be this years John Druce?

Not like we have one every year, but it made for an okay thread title. So, what player do you like for having a suprising post season.

    I'll go with Derek Stepan.

    Kaspars Daugavins!

It's usually a guy who blows up the first round.  I'll go with a Seniorita because I like the idea of Price struggling - give me Zibanejad.

Ryan Callahan. That guy never quits. Scores timely goals? Rangers may not make it to the Finals but Callahan will get some Caps and Pens on the way

I'd say it's between Dustin Brown, Jonathan Quick, and Mike Smith.

I only included Quick because his stats are otherworldly. --- 1.41 GAA, .946 Sv %

You can make a case for Holtby too.

How does a surefire HHOFer enter into the same conversation as Druce?

He may be old, but he still was fifth on his team in points. Selanne being a wrecking ball in the playoffs wouldn't be "where did that come from?" it would be "he's still got it."

All true.  I was thinking of goal totals, red.  Not so much an out of nowhere-type.
