You think Boston has it bad!

Tampa Bay  after barely beating the lowlife Sens 2-1, was pounded by the NJ devils 6-3 and Brodeur won.

Tampa is selling the franchise and bowing out the rest of the season as it is obvious they cannot compete for the cup by losing to NJ. Even though they have 55 points are 2nd overall in the Eastern Conference, it is all over at the halfway point in the season. (The B's are only 6points back with 3 games in hand.)

When things are noted on other teams it can kind of put things in perspective.
Yes the B's lost to the most hateful team on earth, but that does not mean we do not have a capable team.

With 42 games left, a little backbone, heart, desire and talent can change the perspective on the B's. We have the players with these traits, they just have to use them, we have seen them be used before, we just want a lot more consistency.

The same can be said for the coaching, Cj, has used his noggin a few times and then he turns around and throws the 4th line out there more and more.

We have a good team, they just need to find it for themselves and sooner than later, def by playoffs.  A trade or coaching change may help or it may not, it is not the problem, we have the core staff to get er done but it is not happening.

Tampa has  done really well with the budget they have compared to how Chiarelli is too snug against the cap where as Yzerman is dealing with a small market team. PC had to put Stuart on the IR to fit Bartkowski under the cap for today's call up.

I don't and haven't thought that Julien should get fired just yet. He's not a PP specialist coach neither is Geoff Ward. If PC doesn't get a better Defenseman on the point for Julien it doesn't matter how many times Ward changes the personnel on the PP it still isn't going to work.

The best thing that could happen tomorrow would be if Bartkowski scored or played so well for the next few games Chiarelli would feel safe enough to keep him. PC needs to make moves now then let them play up until about a week before the trade deadline too, your favorite word GOAT, evaluate then make another move or two just in case injuries happen.

Good ? Yes N0.4 but the Bruins should be better they just don't have night in and night out consistency from player who aren't playing up to their potential.
