    Good for him. He is the perfect back up for Gortat and Nene. The Wiz look tough. Not just good…but tough.

    Wonder what we get as part of the S & T?  Must be a player right? Washington doesn't have cap room does it?

    Maybe their trade exceptions are enough so we just get a pick(likely second round).

    Good for HUMP ! He was a good Celtic in a tough situation, he handled himself with total class and professionalism.....

    WHO DO WE GET BACK FROM WASHINGTON ?

    Hope it's Otto Porter and we send Washington the Clipper Doc Rivers Pick or even a swap of the Celtics pick with Washington's.....Otto Porter basically had NO rookie season and I feel he's an undervalued stock..........(same thing with Evan Turner)

    Washington hasn't been worth watching since Chris Webber and Christian Laettner were there !

    Now the Wizards are one of the top teams to watch in the east.....John Wall and Bradley Beal are quite a duo , about time Washington hit big on some lotto picks !

    Agreed, Porter would be a nice pickup schooled by Brad but a pick and TPE are more likely.

    Here's what I don't get;

    Wiz have an $8.5MM TPE from the Ariza deal and have the ability to take on Humps $4MM on their own.

    I wonder if Ainge isn't selling them on the benefit to doing two separate deals, Hump for a pick netting the C's a new $4+MM TPE and Bogans for one of their nominal non-guaranteed contracts ($800K) for another $4MM TPE.

    That be a win-win for both teams as the Wiz would cut $4MM off their cap (essentially adding Hump w/o raising their team salary after waiving Bogans) and we'd have another year with two $4MM TPE's on the books.

    TPE's are good for 1 year from trade acceptance date.

    Per HoopsHype;

    4:10pm: The first-year salary for Humphries will be $4.3MM, tweets J. Michael of CSNWashington.com, so assuming there are no other players involved, that’s the amount of the trade exception the Celtics will receive.

    Hope somehow Bogans is added in a separate deal ... both teams would benefit by the cap space savings for nothing more than a swap of non-guaranteed contracts.

    If the Wiz could get KG this could be their roster;

    Wall/ Miller
    Beal/ Webster
    Pierce/ Porter
    Nene/ Humphries
    Gortat/ Garnett

    Per HoopsHype @ 4:25pm: The Celtics and Wizards have reached agreement on the sign-and-trade arrangement, Michael reports. It’s still unclear what Boston is receiving, however.

     5:14pm: Boston is receiving a future protected second-round pick in the deal, Wojnarowski reports. It’s so heavily protected that the Wizards are unlikely to ever have to convey it to the Celtics, tweets Steve Bulpett of the Boston Herald.

    The 2nd rounder is so heavily protected Bulpett @ BH says it will probably expire worthless.

    Best of luck to Hump ! Really became a fan of his this year watching his professionalism , ability  and effort . Danny is making a lot of nice subtle moves which will benefit the Celts for years to come. Rebulit wont come overnight but when it arrives we will be young, talented and a contender for many years.
