certain players are comparing themselves to michael jordan as far as world championships go.if you claim to be the best of all time then you have no choice than to compare your self to the best of alltime as far as championships are concerned- bill rusell!

Russ is the unquestioned winner in American team sports....
NCAA........back to back undefeated champions in '55/'56
Olympics...Gold Medal in '56
NBA.........12 trips to the NBA Finals..11 Championships (lost to StL when Russ was injured in '58)
add them up....15 years....14 rings (and one loss when he was injured.....never will be repeated)

Bill Russell is indeed the Greatest of All Time, whose accomplishments will never, ever be repeated! Michael Jordan however great we perceive him to be is a good second choice.
